Candlewood Suites Erie, an IHG Hotel

Security latch on the door was broken. Bath room sink had been broken and glued back together - who does that? Mold in the shower. Decent folks at the desk. Wouldn't pass as a motel 6 Rooms: Poor repair and mold in shower. Safety: Latch broken

Just avoid this place at any cost. I had business stay booking at this place and they canceled my reservation without any notification. I would have been stranded if I didnt check my reservation beforehand. When I called hotel they were very arrogant in their response. Never ever going to book this place again.

Stayed here almost 3 weeks ago. The charge is still pending on my card. The first room we got put in was dirty. Then we sat in my in-laws room waiting for a clean room. While waiting we saw roaches climbing up the wall. We got in our clean room and it wasnt much better. 10/10 recommend staying at a different hotel.

Avoid this hotel at all cost. Me and my family stayed here for two nights march 1 and 2 to go to splash lagoon when we got there we went to our room to find that there was no body wash or shampoo in shower both bottles empty and then found mud all over bed sheets. We also found out there was no forks in drawer and refrigerator and freezer didnt work. We went to water park Saturday and came back to hotel Saturday and went downstairs to ask for towels and washrags and the girl said I can only give you two towels and two wash rags, and you will have to bring the dirty ones down from your room. After we finally got some towels and washrags after we have to wait for about 20 mins My wife had to take a cold shower because there was no hot water. When we were there, I contacted IHG and they told me the manager would have to contact me Monday. Today I called the hotel and asked to speak to the manager speak She told me the maintenance guy went to the room and said there was nothing wrong with the fridge and freezer which I knew was a lie because it was completely warm. The manager told me that it was not her problem when I told her all of the things that had happened to us. I have never been treated like this before staying at a hotel will never be back again. Dont stay here save your money go somewhere else.
