Cool area to visit, especially If you take the back roads off 81 north.

Quaint, off the beaten path, nature preserve. Has that classic Northeast PA feel. Beautiful wetland boardwalks and excellent place for birding or viewing wildlife. Worth the short walk down into the valley. Could use a little TLC on trail maintenance, but overall great! Picnic area: Picnic tables near parking area

Beautiful place. Lots of spots for bird watching Peaceful, as long as you can tune out the ridiculous amount of traffic on 29. Trails are a little messy (muddy, downed trees) in spots, not always well marked, but still manageable with a trail map. Just be well prepared, as you should with any hike in nature. I found having a walking stick beneficial for a lot of spots and there are a few nature provided ones along the way. Parking area is small, not tons of room, but as long as people park considerately, everyone can squeeze in. Also, leave no trace, pack in pack out!
