So the fire alarms go off quite regularly (that's awesome, they work, whoopy!) but the fact that the only people who have the codes to shut off the alarm system off are the main office folks who are NEVER available. Sherri, the office manager here WOULDN'T come to shut it off because it was too early for her !!! 4 am and a whole building's worth of people and kids and pets sitting on the sidewalk and she didn't wanna do her job. Not that she couldn't, not that she was unavailable, she just refused to come in. We all sat on the sidewalks for over an hour and a half. Unfortunately they are constantly doing work on this building, it seems to always have something that isn't working (like all the washers and dryers crapping out at once or like the drywall crumbling off the garbage patch jobs done all over the place, including the ceilings.) $300 added to rent if you want to park here. They send out the notices disclosing no specific date or time of work that needs to be done in your unit; I came out of my bedroom at 8 am (a little over a week after a drywall maintenance notice was emailed to me) wearing only a tshirt, to a man wearing headphones painting my windowsill... and apparently I scared HIM. That was a great way to start the day. The ONLY redeeming part of living here are a select few staff members from the front desk/security and the maintenance teams. I would not recommend living here. For more than just this reason above, save yourself, your money and your stress levels: live elsewhere.
