**BUYER BE WARE** I write this review as an extremely disappointed and frustrated customer of Coastal Living Consultants, several months after the incident described below. Typically I find that working with a local company provides a more personalized process and relationship. NOT HERE. Please know you will find an extreme lack of communication, professionalism, organization and education. When we asked for help or guidance, we were met with silence. When we asked questions, no one replied. We were asked to complete informational forms, which we did. Then we were handed invoices several months later for increases in coverage that we did not approve or even know we were adding to our policy. After this issue was called to attention and emails were sent to express our extreme displeasure with the level of customer service, communication and mistakes made my Coastal Living Consultants, there was no attempt to correct the situation, or even apologize for the mistakes made on their behalf. Instead, Costal Living Consultants did not correct their mistake or communicate. Their solution, pass the buck and threaten to send to collections. Please do not make the same mistake that I did, find an agent who will actually communicate, actually answer questions, give you guidance, knowledge and make sure you feel comfortable and confident. Not trick you in to accidentally increasing your policy then slam you with them bill and point the finger at you. I hope this honest account of what happened me will allow someone to avoid the frustrations of woking with this company.

Just like Nick V says, unprofessional, rude, zero customer service and I would add lazy. Started yelling at me on a phone call (talk about customer service) after I was notified by my mortgage company that I didn't have home owners insurance. I wasn't notified by my agent at CLC which is what I was paying them for, I was notified by my mortgage company and CLC blamed me. What actually happened was I approved a new policy which they provided months earlier but failed to implement. Their comment was I never got back to them. When I provided the email I sent months earlier approving the new policy they said they never got the email. This is a lie, I know this because I never got a return email message failure. CLC never apologized for totally dropping the ball. Total cost for me was thousands in a new policy and a $400 fee from my mortgage company. Fast Forward to present day and my auto insurance company just contacted me saying I owe $145 for insurance that was supposed to be cancelled by CLC 5 weeks ago. Spend 5 minutes looking around online or throw a dart at a telephone book and you can find a better agent with cheaper prices.
