Best Western Ocean Sands Beach Resort

It's not a resort. At best, a hotel with amenities. The indoor pool is in the carport area and very small. There are three actual separate Best Western locations on the ocean. The division leaves each place feeling disconnected from the other. The parking is disconnected from the hotel in three separate areas and very limited. The beds are comfortable, which is about the best part.

The staff was great so no issues there, my problems were with the room. There was blood on the curtains and possibly the carpet unless that was a different red stain. I know they are doing reno and that room was not done yet. We were on the ground floor and there was no lock on the sliding glass door, it had been literally removed, not a big deal if you are on a higher floor but on the ground it's a big deal. We stayed 3 nights and the third day they took our used towels and left no new ones. They were able to get me new towels when I asked but also mentioned they were trying to conserve towels so not sure what that means for a long term stay. I did not report the blood in the room because honestly what were they going to be able to do, like I said the staff was friendly and it's not like they could remodel the room overnight. This stay was provided by discount from Wyndham Resorts, had I paid full price I would have found a different place. When I told the Wyndham rep where we were staying he apologized without even asking any questions.

It's a nice hotel to stay(keep in mind this is a 3 star hotel) , some of the places like halla ways seem old, but the interiors are good, especially the sea facing ones , try to book to the top3 floors as the sun rise and beach view is amazing .. and there is free breakfast too (get in before 8am to avoid the rush)
