What a beautiful treasure! We found this place and decided to hike around. The parking lot opens onto the beautiful lake and it's soo gorgeous! There was a family of geese swimming across the lake that was clear and beautiful. There is a little path up the way that we walked that lead to the another finrger of the lake and there we were able to watch people (attempt) to cliff dive. I say attempt because while we watched one guy tried and tried but just couldn't get the nerve to do it. ( I hardly blame him..hurtling yourself off solid ground into a pit of water that holds hidden rocks and who knows whatelse does not sound appealing to me either.) But I applaud thier effort for our entertainment. This is a nice place for a leg or a smallish hike, and a photographers gem.
