Econo Lodge

We picked Econolodge to stay bc there was a huge snow storm coming through on our late night commute back to Ohio, it's right by the Missouri River, food nearby and gas stations, the beds were comfortable, rooms were cozy but need updated I clean for a living so I notice alot of things when check conditions. Not terribly dirty but I think housekeeping could of done alot better. Nice variety of breakfast in the morning! Price was expensive to me but what hotel/motels aren't nowadays!

If you need a place to grab some shut eye before going on down the road I would recommend it. If you are staying multiple days probably not. Arrived around midnight and check in went smoothly. When we got in our room 104 we turned on the heater and it made a terrible noise. (Kind of rattling). I knew I wouldnt be able to sleep so we asked to switch rooms and clerk was very accommodating. Room was ok nothing fancy. Did have a chair to sit in. Bed was decent. Shower was decent. No carpet so floor was cold. We checked out the breakfast and opted for coffee only. They offered some apples, packaged oatmeal, waffles, and some variety of cereal. Might stay again if we needed a place to crash for the night.

I had an extremely positive experience staying here; after my car broke down, which made me a day late for my reservation, but the very kind woman at the front desk honored my reservation anyway, instead of charging me for another night. So they definitely deserve more than five stars for the excellent customer service. What could have been a negative experience turned into a positive one, with good neighborly, kind humanity on display. Good price for the room, too, which is easy to get to right off the interstate. Would recommend to anyone to stay here.
