        Dr. Brandes refused to give my mom medication for a highly infected urinary tract, and instead told her to make an appointment with Ureology. She was in so much pain she was in tears and making an appointment like that takes multiple days. This could have put her in the hospital. Even though his nurse diagnosed her with a UTI, he still believed it was pain from radiation. She had stroke-level high blood pressure and they still let her leave. I live across the country and just came back home from my stay with her. Something like this happening was my worst fear. If you're a woman, do your best to find a female doctor instead of Dr Brandes. This is the only way I know to give him my feedback since I can't speak to him directly.
