        Do not come here if you on vacation and have an emergency . Dr koplow down the street took me in the same day to fix my broken tooth.

        I have been a patient a long time. Everything has been fine. I had a crown in 4/2021. I paid upfront understanding that it's an estimate. Although they are in contracted with my insurance so an estimate should never be over $100 more for a dentist office.Moving forward I just received a bill (7/28/22)for $129 for services done 4/2021. I called to ask details and talk about timely billing. The bill stated that I need to speak with Heather for Brandy. Mattie at the front desk said they were busy and she could take care of it. She stated that they "bill my insurance as a courtesy to me". Sure they do! They bill insurance to get paid so that started the conversation off. I told her I needed dates b/c bill said balance forward. I said I would do my research. I figured heck they didn't bill me for 18mths but then today(next day) I get a call from collections This is a Warning this office is not what it used to be!!!

        Growing up I had bad experiences with dentists so for many years I avoided them like the plague. About a year ago I had broken a tooth and had no choice but to find a dentist so I figured Id try out Dr Dyer. I Couldnt be happier. The staff is wonderful, super helpful with any questions you have. When Dr Dyer came up with my plan to fix what problems I had, he explained everything perfectly and let me decide in what order I wanted to get things done. They have a lifetime patient, I no longer have anxiety about getting dental work done, I highly recommend Dr Dyer and his staff to anyone whos needing work done.

      Amy,I truly apologize for the way things happened with your account. I will state outright that you should not have been sent to collections like you were; it was a mistake on our part. We have been working hard to improve our billing processes to prevent the delays that you experienced. I believe we have most, if not all, of those problems resolved so that our patients should now receive statements in a timely manner. As for our estimate being inaccurate, we will continue strive to be more accurate with our estimates and better at communicating clearly when a price is an estimate verses a fixed amount. Once again, I’m sorry that things happened this way for you and I assure you that we are working to resolve the problems that led to your negative experience.
