Super 8 by Wyndham Austin University/Downtown Area

Oh man! #1 worst hotel in the city of Austin Look coming from someone that worked here, if you want to be harassed by hookers, drug dealers, drug heads & homeless then book here. Otherwise, stay far away from this hotel. Management will sell you any room, knowing it violates Texas and health Safety codes 341.066..Etc There Is no communication between employees or managementthis is not hospitality. This is a literal mental asylum. Rooms: Horrible.

Every single staff member I spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful! The room was spotless, and the beds were comfortable. Security cameras all over and staff walking the property made my anxious kids feel safe and comfortable. The pool was open and clean. We'll definitely be back next time we come to Austin!

I wasnt expecting much, but to be honest the room was nice, comfortable bed, hot shower, what more do you need! Its close to the freeway, but late night guests make more noise than the road. Front desk was polite and helpful, I would stay here again. Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Walkability: Not really its on a main road. There are a couple of place to eat within 5 mins walk, great Texmex within 10 min drive.
