I am the maintenance manager of a major plastic processing facility. We use numerous amounts of different brand gear drives thru-out the company, this unit in the picture is one of many that Houston Pump & Gear not only repaired but upgraded the gearbox to run stronger then it did from O.E.M, this same unit also failed after hours around 9pm forcing one of our biggest processing machines into shutdown.. I called Houston Pump & Gear on site, they had it loaded and back to theyre shop before 1am.. At 5am they provided me a failure analysts inspection report explaining why the unit failed along with a list of repairs that needed to be performed, also provided the quote of cost. At 4pm they invited me over to the shop to watch the unit being load tested after the completion of work was done. It was no later than 9pm the same day my gearbox was delivered back to my facility installed and running at max Speed.. The team of engineers at HPG execute any other gearbox repair shops Ive dealt with in the past. Very fast quality work with reliable prices keeps me and my company satisfied. I recommend prioritizing Houston pump and gear to your vendor list.

Ive met the project manager Vince Parker at a industrial convention back in March of 2014.. later on that year I ran into a Gearbox failure that sent the power plant I work for into an emergency shut down, it was then I remembered the conversation I had with Vince about his companys 24/7 capabilities. They sent a truck in that same day had our Lufkin S2212C picked up & back to theyre shop, 72 hours later our plant was back up and running!! Weve been doing business with them ever since, theyve serviced over 15 of our units & it is truly a pleasure dealing with Houston Pump & Gear. Amazing customer service, amazing quality of work, amazing turn around time, highly recommended when it comes to gearbox repair !

Had some equipment go down, last month, Houston pump and gear had them back up within days great pricing great turnaround time, will definitely do business with them again

I found Houston pump and gear on google and decided to call. I needed a Lufkin gearbox repaired. They did a great job and the turnaround time was as promised, so I will definitely use them again.
