My son has been going to Payton for Guitar lessons more than 5 years now. Payton goes above and beyond to accommodate his students. Starting with a simple question about a positive experience from the previous week, he creates an uplifting atmosphere that encourages growth and creativity. My sons progress under Paytons guidance is a testament to his exceptional teaching skills and genuine care for his students. Jesse Brown was my personal vocal coach when I was around 10 years old, and I had the pleasure of doing lessons with him for a couple of years. He was a wonderful teacher and mentor, and an absolute blessing to our family. I know I certainly didnt make it easy for him, being a young child prone to crying fits, but he was always so incredibly patient with me and taught me how to be patient with myself. He is truly one of the kindest souls Ive ever met, and his talent is beyond belief. I HIGHLY recommend taking him on as a voice teacher.

Payton is a tremendous teacher and a phenomenal guitar player. I would highly recommend him to any one at any age or playing level!

Payton is a wonderful guitar teacher. He is patient with students and always tailors his lessons to their skill level. My daughter learned new chords and songs quickly and was able to play for family members within just a few weeks. I was self-taught and Payton helped me grow as a player through more complex exercises & songs and even taught me music theory to learn more about song construction. My daughter and I have come to enjoy playing guitar together for our family and friends. I highly recommend the Guitar School of Texas for all new and experienced players.
