        I hired this company to remove trees from an orchard prior to development. Another company came in and removed some of the trees so they could install a waterline and Family Tree Services requested more money after they started, stating that this other tree removal service messed up their workflow. I paid 50% upfront and the owner kept asking for more. I kept advancing him more and more and finally paid the remaining balance before the work was 100% complete. Once I paid the remaining balance, the work stopped and this company never came back. Not honest and I wouldn't recommend. Service: Tree removal

        I will never use anyone else! Last year they removed a huge tree stump, cut down a Chinese Elm, and trimmed another tree. They cleaned everything up perfectly and did such a great job. We live on a main road, so the other day I got a message from them saying they noticed that we have some Elm saplings coming back this year and offered to come remove and kill them for us, no charge. These trees are like weeds, and the goal was to snuff them out last year, but when they happened by my house and noticed there were a few stubborn stragglers, they unexpectedly offered to take them out. They were so great to work with last year, and they earned 5 stars then, but this yearthis was above and beyond what I ever expected! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for real experts in trimming and stump or tree removal (our tree was sandwiched between two sheds and they removed it without damaging either one), and amazing service! Services: Tree stump removal, Tree trimming & pruning, Tree removal

        They trimmed my tree today and a few other items like grinding stumps. They did a great job were very well informed and gave great advice for my plum tree. Very happy and will use them again.

        Mr. Flamm, I'm sorry to hear that you're not happy with the work that was done. The contract was to take down all the FRUIT trees on the property and chip them up leaving the chips there, which was done. There were no fruit trees left standing when we left, so your review is not accurate and unfair. The estimated time of the project was 30 days, which we completed in that time, even though the company installing the water line left mounds of trees bulldozed into unmanageable piles, resulting in more man hours and longer equipment rentals. I never asked for more than the cost of the extended rental time, which was outlined clearly in the contract. Just for the record though, you're final payment didn't go through until after we had finished, so saying that the work stopped as soon as you paid is untrue. Again, I am sorry if you're not happy with the work, or feel like we didn't do enough, but the contract to remove 2000 fruit trees was fulfilled and within the quoted time frame.
