Service Department at Ken Garff St. George Ford

This place is a joke. Theyve been holding on to my car for over a week. Ive been trying to get a hold of them numerous times. No response or they keep telling me they will call me and I never hear back from them.

A very untrustworthy Ford dealership. Had a wrench light popping up occasionally, went to take the car in for oil change and diagnostics and only got a one word answer transmissionwith no error code paperwork. Waited another 2 weeks for an actual diagnosis and my car never moved from the service garage. I purposely tried to change service people but got the same guy and he got very frustrated with me and when he saw me I was met with So what do you want me to do? Just put in a new transmission? and gave me my keys back and shipped me off. I took my business to a local transmission master and was told it was completely repairable without replacing the transmission. I went from a quoted $7,000 transmission replacement to a $300 part to fix my issue myself. Felt like all they wanted was my money and didnt look at my car in depth I suggest going elsewhere. It was horrible. Dont go to this service department! I went there to get a diagnostic on my transmission. Fords are notorious of bad transmissions. I was told they couldnt do it unless I told them what was wrong. Crazy but thats what diagnostics are for. Im not a mechanic. Then he said it would take forever and when I asked him how long that might be he said two to three days but still would not give me a diagnostic. I had to call my mechanic to explain what the problem was which was simple though he didnt have the diagnostic equipment to reset it. Any way what the service guy said is they would charge me $180 an hour and take probably up to five hours for something that should not take more than hour. Thats almost a $1,000 to get a diagnostic on my car. Disgusting!
