If I could give zero stars I would. We filled up our 1990 GMC Suburban - and that is where our nightmare began. Within several hours - smoking, popping, backfiring - within 3 days, backfiring, popping and died!!! Being visitors in the area, we were in trouble. No mechanic could assist us as they said they were fully booked out for weeks. (Happs, Mill brook, Tiger etc) so my husband worked w a local auto parts store (Fisher - the best) and kept ordering common parts to get us fixed . To no avail, our hometown mechanics called and (3 of them) all said "its bad gas" which we didn't believe until all new parts were installed and we were left with no other options but to check to see if the gas was bad. Wouldn't you know, after filling up an older dry water bottle, it took under 10 minutes to show the settling. We had BAD GAS. I called the owner (Tom) and informed him and that my husband was covered in grease and mud and we had just discovered your gas was bad. He denied it. We weren't looking for money or blame, just looking for possible help with our situation because its where we filled up and now hundreds of dollars and hours later, we are visiting and don't have help to get this problem rectified. He instead denied it all and left us hanging. Well, thanks to my husband and his skills and Fisher auto parts for sending over what we needed to clear this issue up, we are back on the road. Bad gas caused plugs to be replaced and more...I am not sure why Tom would believe we lied. We didn't. He said "no others have called or reported anything so it's our vehicle! He assumed our 1990 has its original gas tank and more but thats not the case. He could have received a bad gas delivery. Bottom line is, we got bad gas from his Mobile station 100% and will be sure to never go back! I am reporting this to the State and letting them do an investigation. Perhaps others ARE out of commission Tom, and their vehicles are sitting at the mechanics, whom are booked for weeks...and their vehicles are sitting and waiting to be diagnosed!!! We don't personally blame Tom but his attitude and customer service - well to put it bluntly, sucks! Well Tom, as to your comments about others who "haven't called or reported your station yet" well, time will tell. But we definitely got bad gas from this place and wanted to warn others. Our 1990 GMC Suburban has never let us down - until this bad gas nightmare...
