Assateague Explorer Pony Watching Cruise & Kayaking

Everything about this was fabulous.Our Captain was knowledgeable about the area and very personable.He found ponies close to the shore and we got to really see them.I hope to do this again in the future!

Yesterday, my friend from Germany and I had a great time on the Pony Watching Cruise with Captain Shane. In addition to seeing the ponies in their nature habitat, Shane shared some great information about the way of life on the Island and his family contribution. A couple from New Hampshire and another from Detroit joined us and they were delightful.

The kayaking was pretty tough at times, but so rewardingespecially when we saw a bunch of the ponies up close towards the end of the run. Such a beautiful, majestic experience. Our guides Brian and Solomon were also very helpful, and knowledgeable, definitely enhancing the experience. My girlfriend and I loved it and are definitely telling more of our friends to try it out!
