We loved working with Shanda and her team. Their pricing was on par with other floral design vendors so that was an easy sell but choosing vendors is about more than price. Personality matters! They were very responsive starting from our first inquiry and genuinely made us feel like they wanted to work with us as much as we wanted to work with them. This makes a big difference. We decided to go with Flor de Casa's floral design and decor package and also worked with them on our wedding design concept. The latter was especially helpful. Over the course of 2 calls and a few weeks, Shanda helped us think through the tabletop rentals that would bring our overall vision to life. In the end, we ended up with beautiful arrangements, special touches like greenery on the chandeliers and a unique ceremony arch, and specialty linens that we would've never found without Shanda. Their team was easy to work with and very flexible as we finalized our guest count, layout, and tweaked our floral needs. They were truly a pleasure to work with!

When we needed flowers for our small backyard COVID-19-adjusted wedding, Flor de Casa came to our rescue. We haven't yet had the chance to meet Shanda in person, but somehow through one video chat she really listened and heard us and just "got" us, and understood what our vision was for the day. The bouquet and boutonniere were exactly what we had hoped for, the flower-adorned copper chuppah was more beautiful than the Pinterest examples we had shared with her, and she adorned our wedding cake with petals which we hadn't expected but which were PERFECTION -- they just took it to the next level! That's what Shanda and her team do -- they everything to the next level with their passion and creativity. Don't hesitate - hire them!

Shanda and her team at Flor de Casa are amazing! Shanda was so easy to talk to and took my vague floral ideas and turned them into a beautiful reality. I loved my cascading bouquet and the elegant yet simple centerpieces. Her team was organized, communicative, and when we had to make adjustments because of the pandemic, she was more than willing to help us adapt. On top of all that, she runs her business with such a personal touch, sending handwritten notes and even a little wedding day gift box!

Shanda's creative vision is incredible, her work is gorgeous, and her customer service exceeds expectations! She took time out of her weekend just to call me to get a better understanding of what I was looking for in my wedding florals. Then she put a great deal of thought, time and effort into designing a vision board for our consultation which captured all of the elements I could have hoped for down to the smallest details. And she was extremely flexible in designing a package that met my needs both visually and financially. I spoke with a lot of florists and Flor de Casa completely beat the competition in the area in terms of quality without contest. If you're looking for a wedding florist I can't recommend Shanda enough- her talent and dedication to the craft will be evident right off the bat!

I cannot recommend Shanda and the Flor de Casa team enough! From the first consultation call (which Shanda took from vacation so I wouldn't have to wait for her to get back!) to the final execution of our plan, it was such a pleasure to work with this team. Importantly, I was looking to save money on florals because my parents were paying and I didn't want to overburden them with additional costs. Shanda listened to my needs and concerns and came up with a gorgeous bridal bouquet and groom's boutonnière, simple and classy centerpieces, and an absolutely show-stopping fireplace mantelpiece that served as the focal point for our ceremony and pictures. And all for less than the budget I gave her. Four months later, and my mother is STILL talking about how much she loved that mantelpiece! It was organic and flowing and really, really special - we got compliments on it all night long. And on top of all of this, my wedding was on March 14, 2020 - right as the COVID-19 panic was taking hold in DC. We went back and forth on whether to cancel, and Shanda and her team were supportive and understanding. We ultimately decided to go forward and while I was worried about potentially putting them in harm's way, they showed up with smiles and grace and did an amazing job. I'm so incredibly grateful! Don't hesitate to work with them if you can!
