This review only reflects my opinion of the salon. The store itself is great. But this one stylist....I would never recommend this stylist to anyone. (Amina is her name I think). I got a haircut and my brows done here on 2/16/24. I arrived at 5:15 and left at 7:15. Tell me why a simple haircut, blow dry, and brow shaping took this long? My hair cut looks ok but my experience was poor because of my stylist. I watched her take a smoke break outside and went right inside to me and proceeded to immediately touch my hair during the initial haircut consult. She reeked of smoke and her hands too - I didnt want to say anything to be rude but it really disgusted me and ruined what would have been a pleasant experience. On top of that, I had my brows scheduled to be done by another stylist at the benefit brow bar, but she hijacked that appointment. She insisted to do my brows too in the salon chair, and rather than waxing them, like I wanted, she only tweezed them. She rubbed her hands all over my brows, she plucked them and missed my hair and pinched my skin, causing me to bleed. She took so long, whenever she showed me her progress, I pointed out to her multiple times the hairs she missed and she had to go back to clean up more. At the end, she proceeded to charge me for a benefit wax and style when she never even waxed me or filled in my brow with a pencil or anything. At that point, I had been there for 2 hours for a simple haircut and blow dry and some eyebrow shaping. I was done and did not want to deal with it. Also, I have nothing against smoking, but if you are going to be touching a client's hair and face, please thoroughly wash your hands before working closely with a client. I literally came home smelling like cigarette smoke. My husband smelled my hair and even my eyebrows where she rubbed her fingers over them and put her hand on my forehead to pluck - all smelled like cigarette smoke.
