When my husband first went in to see Dr Tam and Dr Shane he was in rough shape but they helped right away and worked on a treatment plan. They guided my husband step by step, always willing to answer questions and help. Dr Tam and Dr Shane have opened our eyes to alternative treatments and made us realize there are better options to modern medicine. This is the first clinic and doctors we feel have truly cared about their patient's wellbeing. Thank you for caring Dr Tam & Dr Shane. PS if you've got 15 minutes and want a boost of feel good energy try the Meyer's cocktail.

I cannot sing enough praises of how amazing Ive felt since Ive been going to Docere. Between the naturopath drs, acupuncture, hyperbaric chamber, infrared sauna and nutrition infusion, its drastically improved my health while undergoing chemotherapy.

Prior the covid pandemic all I have ever known was Western Medicine. When my primary doctor retired It was a struggle trying to find a replacement. This is when I discovered Dr.Tam at Docere. On my journey to find REAL health care with naturopathic medicine this was the perfect fit. She was so thorough in her initial new patient intake which they wont even see you unless you do a full bloodwork panel so she knows somethings about you before meeting you. They offer all different types of care from Infared therapy, chiropractic, hyperbarric, ozone treatments, primary care, and much more. The staff is amazing and Dr. Tam really does put her heart and soul with her patients. She's a very kind, patient, right to the point type of woman. Unlike conventional doctors, you can easily send a message VIA SPRUCE (an app that allows messaging between you and your doctor) . Which is amazing bc you can get a response usually within the day. I have a patient membership there that about $150 per month which is WORTH IT!! If you ever went to another naturopathic clinic its so expensive. Dr. Tam believes in affordable and great health care. They also offer sports physicals and vitamin shots. I recommend Docere 100%. Go and find out for yourself. I guarantee you'll have a new primary provider after meeting her

Please spare yourself and find another clinic/hyperbaric facility. Do not recommended. Customer service and communication are complete fails, especially for new patients. My initial scheduling attempt was through their online portal. When I didn't receive a call back almost 2 weeks later, I called the main office number. My first scheduling I was not provided any information about having to be seen by a provider for my hyperbaric appointment. The provider (Docere) is not in the same suite as the Hyperbaric NW, it's several doors down (they do not look alike and there are 1-2 other businesses in between the different suites). So while I waited by the Hyperbaric NW suite, the doors were locked, no lights were on and no open sign was on, through the beginning of my appointment. I had someone from Docere run out to my car to tell me I was supposed to be seen. I had almost driven away, as at this point I had been sitting there for 30+ minutes. I met with a provider, who had no information on me, as I had no time to do my paperwork and instructed to complete it after my appointment. I already was feeling nervous due feeling claustrophobic, but the running around and not knowing what was going on only added to the discomfort. I was doing my hyperbaric chamber treatment for pre-op & post-op surgery. When it came time to do my post-op appointment, my driver cancelled on me at the last minute. When I called right when they opened the morning of my appointment, the first person I spoke with never canceled my appointment. When I received a call 38 minutes into my canceled appointment asking me if I was still showing up, I explained I had already canceled my appointment earlier that morning. I had later that afternoon (3+ weeks later) received another call about my online portal request, saying "they just got it". Which I do not believe. I believe they did not check their portal request, and they did not even check if I was in the computer and registered for an appointment already. Clearly the clinic does not communicate with each other. Not until receiving a text message the next day (Tuesday), that they no-showed my appointment, I was not informed by either person I spoke with about canceling my appointment that they no-showed it, they just waited for me to receive a random text the next day. So because I was not able to call on Saturday, 2 days before my appointment, and I am not able to drive, they no-showed my appointment. When I called after receiving the text to ask why after canceling it that they marked it as a no-show, the younger guy that I spoke with was surprisingly rude. I asked him to confirm, that after one no-show, they charge you for any additional no-shows. So even if you are new and cancel before your appointment, if it is not at least 24 hours exactly (even if you book within 24 hours), they fully intend to charge you every chance they get; instead of working with people. I understand people make a habit out of not showing for appointments, I also understand there are occasionally extenuating circumstances. Once the information was confirmed, I stated that the customer service was poor and that I could have been communicated by either person that they were no-showing the appointment. He stated, is there anything else I can do for you? When I feel like I was unheard and that they did not care about my concern for communication, yet again (from both initial encounters), I stated I feel like there are other hyperbaric chamber facilities out there (that may want the customers), in which he stated "sounds like it's better for us". These appointments are costly, in the upwards of $200-300 per appointment, so believe me, I do expect better communication and treatment.
