Lilia Orlova is a wonderful agent with Bellingham Remax. She worked tirelessly to get answers about properties we were interested in and constantly refined the properties to show us based on the places we saw and liked. Once we had seen the properties in Bellingham, she pulled in nearby properties until we found the perfect place that suited our needs. She has a group of contractors who she called on whenever we needed them and they also responded in a timely manner. She was willing to make a three hour round trip to pick us up from the airport and return us when we had to leave. She is very good at communicating where we were in the process of buying our home, and making us feel welcome in the community.

We feel we did not get proper representation by REMAX in Bellingham, WA based on how we were treated by our agent.
- Our agent referred us to a home inspector who did not do a thorough inspection. We were told we could not be present for the home inspection due to COVID-19 rules.
- Most issues that were identified by the home inspector, were never fixed by the seller.
- Our agent did not follow through in verifying the repairs were made as we obviously noticed on the day we took possession of the home.
- Her answer to any of the issues we found with the home was to either refer us to the home warranty included with the home sale or just ignore our emails. Most of the issues we found after taking possession were not covered by the 1 year home warranty. These issues include: chimney, wood burning stove, garage door, floor in bathroom, ventilation system clogged, rotted exterior siding.
We took possession of the home in late June 2020. After repeated attempts to get results through our agent and getting no replies via email or telephone, we reached out via email on August 2020 to the managing broker / owner of REMAX Bellingham. It has been over a year and we still haven’t heard from this company.

Had to clean out some items at a house that Rachel Wilson was representing, and my associate and I received more help from her than I ever have from a homeowner/real-estate agent when cleaning out a home. She was so kind and helpful, I would recommend her to anyone!

Laura Sanderson at RE/MAX did a fantastic job helping us find our first home in Bellingham! We’ve been in our home for a few months now and are very happy with the decision we made with Laura’s help. Before beginning the home buying process, we met with several different realtors from a variety of companies in Bellingham. We chose Laura because she took the time to explain everything clearly, gave us honest answers/opinions, had years of experience, and most importantly, made us feel at ease.
Working with Laura was great. She was always available to answer questions and schedule showings. Her responses were prompt and honest and we really valued her thoughtful and methodical insights.
First time home buying is difficult and stressful. We encountered errors and negligence in almost every step of our home-buying process (credit union, inspection, bank, title company). Laura was the one exception. Her professionalism and diligence really showed. She was always prepared, always accurate, always punctual, and always available to help. We were glad to have Laura on our team and look forward to working with her again. We highly recommend Laura Sanderson!
