When it became clear to me that I needed a safer living environment that provided the things I was no longer able to provide, my search began. I toured three retirement facilities, none of which felt like a fit for me. I then contacted Stacy at Laconner Retirement Inn and have never looked back. I am home. I have made friends, am busy with games and other activities, and never have heard a complaint! Folks love it here! The staff is amazing! I am so very grateful to have found what should be the template for all senior living facilities. Seanene Kennedy

La Conner Retirement is a very welcoming facility. Staff is friendly and attentive to each resident. Along with the quality of their food, it's no wonder there is a waiting list for move-ins.

My mother was at this facility from February 2017 until her death at this facility 5/24/23. The care was an up and down swing depending on who was managing the facility at the time and how well they were staffed. The experience of COVID certainly had an adverse effect which is understandable in keeping a healthy staff. My huge disappointment comes from the most recent experience, my mothers death at the facility. My sister who lives nearby in Anacortes was always available to rectify or handle any issue regarding my mother in person. She was always available to initiate any communication to my mother regarding her care and concerns. She and my brother in law as well as my son who lives in Seattle visited her many times over the years. As it was more difficult for the family who lived out of town , the local family was very present. My mom passed as of this writing over 2 weeks ago. Not a single message of condolence has been issued to my sister . Not a card, a letter, a phone call. I guess its all about the money, nothing more , nothing less. A card could be the difference ( in this case between a 1 star rating and a 4 star. ) VERY VERY DISAPOINTED.
