What a beautiful building and location. The artifacts are phenomenal, and the whole center manifests an experience of connecting the past to the present. Wanapum people were deeply impacted by various industrial developments such as the dam or handford. The inclusive story of native heritage and changes overtime are not forgotten in the exhibit and I have to applaud Grant County for funding the Heritage center as a way of taking ownership of their impact. Overall, a great stop to make during a road trip.
