Soap Box

Went in with my wife, who asked after shampoo bars. The proprietor starts prattling on with "let me teach you Chemistry 101, honey, there's no such thing as a shampoo bar..." and, as my wife looks on with intensifying contempt prior to just walking back out of the shop wordlessly, the proprietor keeps yammering after her "...Chemistry 101, Chemistry 101...". Customer service tip: before you go 'splaining (and incorrectly at that) elementary chemistry, you might want determine if the non-consenting recipient of that erroneous 'splanation holds a doctoral degree in chemistry. As does, for instance, my wife. Your patronizing cost you our patronage. An extra star for a decent selection of soaps, just know that looking for one designated 'shampoo' will yield only a lecture of very little factual merit.

I absolutely LOVE the lotions and potions at The Soap Box. Strawberry & China Rain Vitamin AD&E lotion is my fave. The richness of the Vit ADE lotion keeps my skin from drying out in hot LA weather.
