Banner Bank Mortgage Lending

Completely unprofessional. They were so oblivious to the task at hand that they kept asking questions we had already answered in email and kept on adding additional requirements not stated at the onset of the process. After accepting the application and telling us our loan was finalized months earlier, they told us that we didn't appraise two weeks  before the closing date (after we had already released contingencies). This was two months after they told us the appraisal came in. Ended up not closing with them. On top of that, they continued to charge us  banking fees and require that we come in person to close out the bank account. A complete waste of time and money, avoid them at all costs.

POOR!!!! customer service especially "VANESSA RUIZ"is the WORST ONE she has a horrible and terrible rude attitude they need to get rid of her and get someone BETTER she's very unprofessional always on her personal cell phone while she at work

I am only writing this review because I have been treated so badly by Banner Bank, Walla Walla that  I have to warn people. What it all boils down to is we are trying to live on a new very limited Social Security budget. We are now retired and my husband is looking for work through the VA and other places. We aren't able to make ends meet at the end of each month try as we may!! I have a surgery coming up and don't need this kind of stress believe me. If I could have avoided all this and not deal with them at all I would. But what happened was a monthly payment we make to our local vet to pay for treating our pup before and after his death, overdrew our account by a few dollars. Banner Bank charged 7 late/returned check fees for this overdraft totaling over $200.00. Our money is automatically deposited in their bank so there was no question it would be covered. It was unintentional and when I explained they credited us just two of the seven charges. Each was $30.00. I would have just taken responsibility for my mistake but the cold way they treated us was shocking. I said we are human beings not just an account number. And we will be going without food and supplies because of this. I am not saying this for shock value it is true. We have less than $80.00 to last for close to two weeks. My pension is $700.00 and they took $210.00 of it!! So the most important point if all this is Banner should be ashamed! I said you are a multi million dollar company and you just don't care about your customer!

We are from out of town and accidently went in the parking lot the wrong way because of construction on the main street where the entrance is.  We were yelled at belittled by an employee. I am a credit union member and am used to credit unions always being the best in service. This place has very rude personnel  to out of towners! I did my banking at blue mountain instead.
