Comfort Suites Bridgeport - Clarksburg

Accommodations were fine, had an issue with veteran discount though. I booked on line and was unaware of veterans discount. When I arrived I paid at desk and showed my drivers license which shows I am a Vet. Not a word about discount. I became aware that evening from another Vet. Upon my return to hotel the desk clerk said it was too late to get the discount since I already checked in. I asked the manager the next day at checkout and was told sorry, you already signed in. Well I was still there wasn't I, they should have honored the discount. I will find another hotel next time. I served with honor, so should they, shame on them.. This was resolved by management! Room itself is good. Bathroom is lacking thinking on design. To turn on shower you need to enter shower and get sprayed with cold water. Toilet paper is difficult to reach while using the toilet.

I wish I could give this hotel 19 stars!!! It is modern, the rooms are huge, it's very clean, it has a pool and a hot tub, the beds and pillows were luxurious, and it's right off interstate 79. And its price is extremely good. This is our new regular stop on the way to and Florida

ordered this room two days before check in. specifically asked about the pool and spa. the only reason we chose this hotel was for the advertised heated pool and good reviews. they lady said it should be open i said what does that mean? is it open? and up and running as it should she said yes its just closed for maintenance sometimes or if a kid has an accident or gets hurt. i add if there was any scheduled maintenance during our stay and she replied no. needless to say upon checking in there was a sign that the pool was closed for maintenance and the front desk said it was planned maintenance . so the person i spoke to when i made the reservation lied. asked them to cancel the room and we would go across the street where we stayed last time and they said they couldnt refund the room even though i was lied to. i asked for a discount and they said no. disgusting, do butter will be staying elsewhere and disputing transaction with bank Noteworthy details: dishonest employees
