During a VERY CHALLENGING purchase of my new home, I was consistently encouraged by this agent to not move forward with the inspection due to the seller not being ready for the inspection. I was told by this agent that, if I wanted the rest of the inspection done (which I had already paid for, but was not completed due to said seller not being ready), I would have to pay a re-inspection fee. The inspector agrees to re-check without an additional fee. Come to find out, there were scorch and burn marks in the attic as well as live, uncapped wires which required fixing. During this process, I was constantly told by my agent that I needed to be concerned about the sellers because they were very stressed out about the purchase of their new $500,000 home and were experiencing issues with the purchase of that home. Additionally, there were items on the inspection report that were very concerning to me. When I asked to have them repaired (mainly electric and plumbing) I was told by this agent that I was being too difficult and the seller did not understand that they could say no. She also felt it was OK to yell at me, tell me to "stop being stupid" multiple times and rip documents out of my hands.
