Kroger - Closed

Update: I've heard this kroger location is being closed! Play silly games, win such prizes. The store manager at this location is, as seen in other posts, a completely illogical person. The situation I experienced with him was the store rule that I could shop to buy a mask at the store but not shop without one. I told him this doesnt make sense and he asked me to leave the store. Kroger corporate should ask him to leave his work.

Walked in here today, only to walk right back out. My husband bought a playstation from game exchange down the road and we needed a few things before we went home so he brought the PlayStation in with him in his backpack. I had a small bag that looks like a backpack but is a purse. The worker at the checkout was staring at us while we came in and stopped us and told my husband he will have to leave his backpack at the front of the store. We said no it has our PlayStation we just bought in it and we don't feel comfortable doing that. Plus it's 101 degrees outside and we can't leave it in the car. My husband pointed out there's no difference in his backpack and a tote bag that a woman at checkout had that was the same size as his backpack. They couldn't give us a response to that but we just left and went to Walmart. We went shopping at Walmart with no questions or funny looks.

Bought a can of peaches. Customer service manager would not give me a refund. I had my receipt. Called corporate office and got mistreated there too. Customer Service Representatives lied to me about giving me a credit on my plus card. They told me that I had $65.00 credit on my plus card. Found out by another representative that it was only $5.00 on there. The representatives kept lying to me for a entire month. Instead of them telling me the truth, they kept misleading me. I embarrassed myself numerous times by continuing to go in the store looking for the credit. I am no longer a plus card owner. Nor will I ever shop at any Kroger store again. I have shredded all cards, and deleted the app. I asked for my complaints to be escalated. Just for the record, I don't have any more confidence in any Kroger corporate representatives. PLEASE TRASH YOUR PLUS CARD AND SHOP AT ANOTHER LOCAL GROCERY STORE.

Not enough people checking the customers out so the lines were long for the self checkout and they only had one real person using the cash register and it's the day before the 4th of July an outside holiday I juat expected more workers so the store could flow smoother
