Grgich Hills Estate

While we enjoyed the wines, we did not enjoy the our tasting or guide. The balloons on the patio looked tacky and the guide essentially ignored our group once she learned we were a bachelorette group (completely sober and no outfits or anything). I found the tasting to be a bit judgmental of the average joe

Gorgeous estate, we popped in with a 30 minute notice for a tasting. Miles was our host, he has been in the business for a very long time and really knows his stuff! I bought the Commemorative Chard.

My friends and I had a wonderful experience at this winery. We sat outside and it was lovely. Our tasting guide James was very knowledgeable and friendly! Highly recommend, and will definitely be returning.

We visited Grgich Hills as part of the Napa Valley Wine Train experience, and really enjoyed Jeremy's entertaining guided tasting. There was a nice tasting area set up under umbrellas in the warm sun, and Jeremy's mission to "educate and inebriate" was successful! The wines were delicious, particularly the rose and chardonnay. Loved hearing the story of the founding of the winery and the epic blind wine tasting showdown in France where American wines won over the French!
