1000 Grant The Burnsley Apartments

I would like to rate this complex higher because the apartments themselves are nice. However, for the price there are a couple things that just dont match. 1. Homeless camps. Periodically set up outside of this property the last one was here for a month and during that time my car was broken into. 2. Staff. One of my neighbors smokes cigarettes all day in the unit which makes our hallway stink and seeps into my apartment. The smell is so bad I have had multiple guest remark on it. This has been an ongoing issue (6 months) with little action from staff. Even though I and others have complained 10+ times. 3. Amenities. It seems like amenities are always breaking down. The laundry room has been flooded several times and multiple units are out of order. I find this ridiculous because not only do I have to pay to wash my clothes but we are also charged an amenities fee. (ps. as I am writing this I can smell cigarette smoke in my kitchen and one of the only 2 elevators is down.) While it is a nice looking place the staff doesnt seem to really care about quality of life issues that persist. These issues make it hard to enjoy living here.

MOVE INTO ANYWHERE BUT HERE If I could give 0 stars, I would. Ive lived here for about one year and a half and 80% of the time only 1 elevator has worked meaning it takes forever to get anywhere. The trash chute always gets backed up. The door to drop off large trash is always locked so theres always a pile of trash in parking lot. The power constantly goes out when its cold. Up until a couple months ago you couldnt use the dog bath amenity because they didnt care the hose had super hot water and water pressure that literally hurt our dogs. This in particular was not switched out until a couple months ago when I made the mistake of renewing my lease here and asked them if they would fix it since our rent price was going up: They asked me if I had already put in a maintenance request as if maintaining the BUILDING AMENITIES was my job and not theirs. The cleaning and maintenance staff are nice, helpful and friendly, but unfortunately, except for Bre and they guy with the beard, everyone else that they rotate in and out of the management office is a terrible representative and person in this role. They dont listen, they dont care, and sometimes it seems as if they want to make your life as difficult as possible. - ADD ON: They had the hallway carpets replaced - the workers caution taped us into our apartments and through glue all over the floor without warning us first to go walk our dogs etc before they confined us to our apartments. They started construction in the pool area in the spring. Emergency phone number to call when things go wrong after hours? USELESS. Literally trash. I dont know about other red peak properties, but 1000 Grant is TRASH
