I really enjoyed the seaport museum. I like history and things like ships, trains, planes, and cars. So I loved walking around exploring. The family enjoyed, but rancour of steam long before me. A great place to visit.

Had the joy and honor to photograph a small wedding ceremony at the Seaport in the church on Saturday! The grounds are so beautiful and there are many great places to take photos. We were fighting the loss of light and the coming storm, but we managed to get some great photos and the bride's most wanted one! Will have to come back and look around more as it really is surprising how much is back there!

Should you visit? Yes, BUT visit on the weekends and prior to Columbus Day. Otherwise, you will find half of the museum and village closed. Moreover, even the open stations were staffed with employees who could not answer questions about the exhibits. Organization and communication are lacking. Printed signage around the museum listed demonstrations throughout the day, so we scheduled accordingly. However, sign-boards advertised different times, which led to Mystic Seaport Museums themselves not knowing when the demonstrations would be. This was even more frustrating when going across the museum only to learn we missed the demonstration. When we consulted the employees, we were given different answers. *Also, be cautious in eating at the Galley Restaurant. Even with Covid-19, restaurant employees were unmasked and eating while serving food. We quickly left and went to another establishment after this observation.
