GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! These guys are so nice and they actually want to help you when you call! They did all the work we needed and were honest about the problems we were facing. We had codes reading that the problem could have possibly been much worse than they actually were but they found the issues and solved them at a much much lower price than expected.

I have had several vehicles serviced by Trans Max and they have always been "top notch" repairs. Trans max is in my opinion, the BEST TRANSMISSION REPAIR SHOP IN OCALA. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO RECOMMEND ANYBODY TO THEM. THANK YOU TRANS MAX.

Beware? Not the place it used to be. I got a price from the previous owners for a simple classic Mopar transmission. It had been over a year so I thought I would go back and get it done but I realized that the price may have went up. When I showed up I could tell things might have changed so I asked if it was under new owners. So I asked if it was and they were very guarded and did not want to answer it with just a simple yes or no but instead sidestepped the question. So I asked what the cost would be to rebuild it expecting some reply like it would be so much unless they ran into some major parts issue just like before and honestly like all transmission shops I have done business with in the past. I was told they didn't give prices without tearing down the transmission first. That is simply a plot to keep you from taking it some where else when they give you a price that you are not happy with and makes it difficult to decline usually at the moment there is some inspection fee. So I simply told him that he would not be rebuilding my transmission. I walk out the front door headed back to my car when he comes out and cussed me all the way to my vehicle ranting and calling me names. I have never in my life had that kind of experience at a business. I am 71 and been involved in the service business of vehicles alot of my life. I owned an RV dealership for 11 of those years and if one of my employees did that he would have been fired immediately. But I think he was the new owner. So here it is for what it is worth.

The people were courteous and professional. However, they charged me to replace the vehicle's battery without consulting me before hand. The resolution at the end of the day is acceptable, but this incident has left me with a less than favorable view of this business.
