Element Atlanta Buckhead

Nice hotel and centrally located. Staff was incredibly warm and inviting. Special mention to Amber at the front desk. When I was checking in, she was managing 1) me checking in 2) helping a guest who was on the phone trying to trouble-shoot a reservation mishap 3) seeking assistance from the hotel manager on her ear buds 4) helping a guest with purchased food from the marketplace and 5) reassuring all guests in line that she would be with them shortly. She did this all with style and grace - I hope the hotel recognizes what a dedicated employee they have taking care of guests.

The Element was everything and more. I don't know where to start. I came in with my wife for my birthday over the weekend. She surprised me with a trip to Atlanta. The staff was like family to us our whole stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym area was almost the size of a chain gym, with a lot of workout options. I've never workout at hotel gyms, because of how small and boring they can be. The morning breakfast crew made our mornings enjoyable.The staff spoke highly of the General Manager. It's perfectly located just outside of the busy downtown area. The bartender was awesome. The housekeeping staff was great.

The hotel itself and room are super nice. However, when I was staying there they were conducting fire alarm tests starting from 8am continuously until we checked out at 11am. Completely unacceptable for a hotel to interrupt people's sleep. Either run the tests later in the day, or close down the hotel temporarily. Also, you need to notify people before the test or else they're going to think there's an actual fire.
