Got a root canal done today. Dr. Smolyar and her assistant were awesome. It went really well I think and I dont think I couldve asked for a better endodontist. The front desk people are really nice. Parking is easy and free.

The billing is very much a joke in this office. Did a general cleaning and charged me for a periodontal maintenance, and I have to pay out of pocket a fee even with my insurance. When I asked about it, their response was once I did deep cleaning with them before, and Ill be put in deep cleaning cycle forever, even I didnt do the maintenance. The fact that this is even a legitimate reason for them to charge a patient more is ridiculous. In regard to the service, the first time I went in with deep cleaning, the hygienist poked me with the anesthesia needle on the lip, and the second time, she couldnt find a good spot in my gums for injection, so poked my gums with that long needle for like 5 times and told me i was bleeding a lot and she couldnt find the right place. This time I went in requested a new hygienist, she herself said my teeth and gums are very healthy, and itll be a quick cleaning. The cleaning took me less than 15 mins, and then charged me with periodontal maintenance.
