I've been by 3 times. The first 2 times they were fairly busy (as it half full of a very small dining room) and I was told it would be a 20 minute wait for a pint of chicken salad to go. Much longer if I wanted a menu item. That surprised me as I'd assumed they'd be able to spoon up a pint of salad pretty quickly. This last time there were only a couple of tables of customers. I'd planned ahead and had an errand to run. Asked for a recommendation and it was the BLT with tomato mayo. I ran my errands and picked it up. It was 2 very thick slices of chewy bread (not bad, probably house made, just be prepared), a few slices of thick bacon, average tomato, somelettuce and some red mayo. They sprinkled generic potato chips on top as the side. I was starving, but could not eat that much bread and thin filling so I took all the bacon, lettuce and tomato and put it between 2 half slices. It was fine, just nothing to go back for. There was not enough fililng even after condensing it to a half sandwich. The staff all 3 times was totally not worried about whether or not I ordered or not, and in fact seemed to be glad I didn't the first 2 times and they had a very small lunch crowd. I hate to leave a bad review. The service was worse than the food. I hope someone takes notice and amps up the service and the sandwiches. Oxford has too many good places for an average place to succeed.
