I requested to have my policy cancelled in June 26,2020. I was told that it would be taken care of that day. It never was canceled. I found another carrier with a much better rate than Allstate. Communication with Anna isn't good. I have been told on several occasions that she will call me back and she never does. I will not be paying for any insurance for the month of July. I definitely would not recommend this agent. Very poor communication with me. That's one of the reasons that I went with a different company. I have been calling her office all day getting her voicemail. I call from a different number and she answered. I asked did she cancel my policy. She said it was done this morning and hung up. Now she wont answer the phone. DONT USE THIS AGENCY EVER!!!!

My husband was laid off due to COVID, as a result I changed my payment due date from the 15th of the month to the 27th of the same month. In May Allstate deducted almost $600 from my checking account, I do not have a job and this added to my financial stress. I called the 1800 number no one could explain why, I called my agent Anna Gupta, she was no help either. Anna and the Allstate office promised to call me back and neither one did. I kept calling I eventually was told that they took 2 payments because I changed the due date. I explained my employment and financial situation and no one cared. I was utterly shocked when the next month came and they were still charging me the full amount even though I paid 2 payments the month before. My account was paid in full until July, at which time I ended my relationship with Allstate. The have sent letters and a letter to collections regarding my account. No one has explained the charge and no one cares about my financial situation. I would understand if I had missed a payment but I have not. I believe in paying what I owe. I do not believe in being bullied by big corporations. STAY away from Allstate and Anna Gupta.
