If you are looking for and apartment with 24 hour maintenance and customer service this isnt the apartment for you. I put in a maintenance request to have my dryer vent fixed in July it is now mid November, Im handy enough so after a few weeks I fixed it my self, now my dryer will not get hot or blow air Ive put in another request and called and the answer I was given is sorry we are short staffed and dont know when we will get to you. I have no way to dry my clothes I signed a lease under the conditions of 24 hour emergency maintenance and an apartment that supplys all needed working appliances.

I'm apparently responsible for damages to a screen door caused by a burglary that happened before I moved in. The print news coverage of the crime even mentioned "The incident report states police found a broken screen door [...]" but I still get a letter in the mail a few months after moving out, claiming I owe nearly $200 in damages. The living room view was nice and pests were minimal, but don't for a second trust the p.o.s. who leases the place. H.I.P. will 100% lie and cheat to squeeze a little bit more of your paycheck into theirs if you let them. Document THOROUGHLY before moving in and immediately after moving out.
