Closets by Design - Central New Jersey

had a sales representative come and measure for a custom closet. . He told me he'd call in next couple of days to come back out to go over the design. After a week I reached out to the office which resulted in a call. When he came back he was very unprepared and took 2 hours. Very pushy had the the typical hard sell lines. He finally Gave me a price I had to leave and my wife was going to sign and pay. I get a call the price went up 10 minutes after I left. He made a mistake which was 20% higher. At that point I told my wife not to move forward. He left never called me I had to reach out. At which he blamed me for the mistake said I rushed him . I said just give me the price by email he refused and said he has to come back out. It's all high pressure sales . Already spent 4 hours in my home. As if my time means nothing but they want to corner you. I reached out for the owner to call me and that did not happen. They say I'll give you 50 % off if you sign today. Which we all know that's to avoid price shopping. . Very angry my time was wasted but if this is an indicator of how they do business I'm better off. Owner condones the behavior or would have called if he wanted the sale. Problem is he knows I'm not a sucker!

We are extremely happy with our new storage space. We can now park a car in our garage, we have extra storage under our stairs and I have a stunning new bookcase in my office.

Trevor was awesome . They came in the time frame quoted. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. This was so great we decided to get a 3rd closet installed by them. Garrett was our designer and he was incredibly knowledgeable and had great ideas and suggestions.

STAY AWAY!! As an employee of the company I have been apart of the entire process and have witnessed its flaws. The material is VERY cheap, it chips and scratches almost always and is hidden with marker. It is SEVERELY overpriced and the poor communication between the design team and the installers leads to MANY jobs not being done the way a customer request. The work is poor and lazily done while majority of the employees are careless inside the homes damaging the walls, ceilings, floors, mirrors, doors and many expensive items with no compensation or accountability. This is just another small business that capitalizes upon the ignorance of the uninformed consumer. Do not be fooled!! Here are just a few of the jobs that were completed within the last week.
