Romero's Tavern 1947

The most disappointing not even Portuguese food we've ever had. I don't think they have ever heard of seasoning, or flavor. Chimichurri was missing from my steak. The shrimp were so small and the portion was laughable for the price. Ths side are frozen veggies with no seasoning and bland rice with hard peas and no other options. They forgot to send my Spanish potatoes. Caldo Verde soup was literally chicken noodle. THE CRABMEAT STUFFED SHRIMP HAS IMITATION CRAB. that should be specific on the menu no one wants to eat that. Definitely a rip off

Came to your restaurant Saturday, July 9, 7:00pm reservation. Waitress finally came over to us after about ten minutes and asked if we were ready to order, then said I'll be right back. Finally comes back to take our order, we told her we would like a pitcher of sangria, ok I'll get that. Barmaid made it and it sat on the end of the bar for about 10 minutes until the barmaid had to get waitress attention and told her to take it to our table. 45 minutes and so far only had sangria and basket of bread sticks. Finally ordered appetizer then our meal. Waitresses were confused jumping from table to table. They should concentrate on one table. When we got our meal we asked for hot sauce, again waited 5 minutes before we had to get the girls attention, she said, oh yeah it's coming. Waitresses were new or had never waitressed before. There was a table with 2 people, both ordered a meal, guess what only one person got his meal the other one was never ordered. We usually will give a restaurant two tries, sorry I can't say that about yours.

Place looks nice, spent good amount of $$ here. Took a while for food to come out but it was good. Lacking in service, seemed a little disorganized probably short stuff. Sent back the sangria tasted water down, second pitcher was a little better. Asked for two expresso's never got them, when I asked the same waitress for our bill I had to remind her that we never get the expresso's and she needs to remove them from bill.
