The Moxy in Easy Village is fantastic! My partner and I stayed there for 7 nights in June and we both loved it. You can't beat the location, 10/10 walk score and the nearest subway station is just 3 blocks away. The staff was consistently helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. Specifically the manager Mac was a delight to talk to. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Thank you! The rooms are clean and surprisingly more spacious than other places we've stayed. We will definitely book this hotel again.

Great clean room, super comfy bed! However, the bathroom situation was a bit too "public" for our tastes. We had a room with 2 double beds. I went with my friend and her daughter. They shared 1 bed, I had the other. The toilet is in one glass wall partitioned area (a tiny room) with a glass door that has a half inch gap when closed. The sink is in an open area between the toilet "room" and the shower "room". It is an awkward undressing/dressing area. More suited to a single bed as opposed to a multiple bed situation. Other than that, it is in a great location. Wonderful if you are to go to Webster Hall. There are two 24 hour markets nearby as well. One being the Westside Market, which has a wide array of freshly prepared food along with beer, wine, and other beverages and fresh fruit and baked goods. I didn't get a chance to go to the rooftop terrace (The Ready) but hopefully next time!

Two stars based on the AC alone. Everything else is great, cleanliness, location, etc. but the AC unit in the room is on an automatic timer and it turns off if there is no motion in the room like when you are sleeping! I would wake up in the middle of the night and the room was warm, Id have to get up and walk across the room to trigger the motion sensor under the sink at 2am to get it going again. The other issue is the rooms are very small, but have large windows. Not normally an issue, except the AC turns off when you leave the room. Then your room basically becomes a tiny greenhouse. So the second day, I left the blackout shade closed to keep the room cool, but when housekeeping cleans they open the blackout shade. So back to square one in your little hot box hotel room. It was impossible to keep the room cool! On the plus side, rooms facing south have a great view of the World Trade Center. Also love that you can access your streaming services on the TV. I also advise getting a south facing room away the street. Hotel is on a great street but it is a little rowdy with great bars and Webster Hall but I heard zero noise staying in a south facing room! Rooms: The motion sensor AC is the worst. Need a new system if they are trying to be green or eco friendly, because AC shuts off at night. It quickly gets warm with two bodies taking hot showers in a small room with a big window that turns the space into a greenhouse. Walkability: Great location, can easily walk to the 7 subway line. But also walkable to all of lower Manhattan.
