The staff at Clausnitzer is very friendly and helpful. Heather cleaned my teeth and is very thorough. Doctor Clausnitzer and Heather gave an excellent explanation of a potential problem that a certain tooth might have. I highly recommend this dentistry.

I will never go anywhere else. Absolutely everyone here is so kind and friendly. I had previously been to a dentist that specializes in dental phobias because I have a phobia of needles and some of that fear, especially when it comes to numbing, overlaps with going to the dentist. I won't name the dentist but I left there in tears after having multiple panic attacks. They wanted to schedule 4 separate appointments to clean my teeth, each involving a numbing needle, and told me I have an area on my back molar to keep an eye on but wasn't a real cavity yet. I wasn't happy with the service so I switched back over to Clausnitzer's, my childhood dentist, and was immediately amazed by how well I was treated here, it's like a family. Heather, the dental hygienist I usually see, was able to do the scaling and planing (that the other dentist wanted to do in 4 separate sessions) all in one go and without any numbing. I didn't feel any pain and she was able to clean everything up with a water pick and a steady hand. She checked in with me every few minutes to make sure I was doing alright. Her service is absolutely fantastic and I didn't feel even the slightest bit anxious. Then Dr. Clausnitzer came in to do his part of the exam. He looked at the tooth the other dentist said they would keep an eye on and he concluded it was in fact a cavity and needed to be drilled. I had never had a cavity before and was really nervous. He booked me in at his earliest convenience and assured me we could get it done without numbing if I truly did not want that...I didn't. So I came in for my very first cavity filling and he made sure I stayed calm and relaxed the entire time...which is a big deal for me! The staff working with me all knew of my needle phobia and were very reassuring that everything would be fine. Dr. Clausnitzer made sure I had plenty of gas and was as relaxed as possible, I even joked that he could probably use the needle and I wouldn't even mind at that point! He drilled out the cavity and found that it went deeper than initially thought. I never felt any pain or discomfort. He talked with me the whole time, and checked in frequently to make sure I was doing alright and wasn't in any pain or distress. It was all so quick and easy. If you are looking for a dentist that is kind and compassionate and will make sure they do everything to get your teeth in the best possible condition, I highly recommend Clausnitzer Dentistry. I will never trust anyone else with my teeth.
