He said he would grant the order for Ohioans to receive an unemployment settlement if he had the power, but couldn't because the case was in front of the Ohio Supreme Court, he couldn't do anything. When they consolidated the cases back in front of him and he actually had the authority to do something, did he keep his word? Of course not. He's a Republican hack more interested in staying on DeWine's good side. Never mind that the Federal government has offered to cover the cost of the payout, and people are still struggling. As long as they're eating well, they don't care about anyone else. He is probably a multi-millionaire just like DeWine.

I won't be bullied into taking a job for less pay than I was making before being laid off due to covid in 2020. There is NOT a worker shortage. There is a shortage of jobs willing to pay a liveable wage to full time employees. I've been in from scratch fine dining kitchens for 26 years. Made $18 per hour when I was laid off due to covid. I refuse to move backwards. How many of these restaurants pay $18 per hour to experienced chefs? I'm going to sit back on my wagon wheel and laugh when the next wave of restaurants start going out of business before 2022. Better learn to cook from home because we are not interested in cooking dinner for your families when you can't even wear a mask or get vaccinated to protect our health. You should be ashamed for your politically motivated decision. Good day loser.
