UPDATED (April 2024): Just had a crown re-cemented by Dr. Kear working with Linsey (crown served dutifully since 2002 when he installed it!!), for a very reasonable price, and the conversation is always stimulating (we discussed his views on oral cavity lichen planus, for which he and colleagues referred me to Dr. Briody of Ohio ENT & Allergy Physicians for treatment which is going very well, and also the antibacterial properties of crown cement). Shows me that Dr. Kear stays up-to-date with dental thinking. And Dr. Kear was very good working with Linsey (sp??) and pointed out different aspects of his technique to her as part of OJT (on-job training). UPDATED: Just had my checkup with Dr. Ferguson / Riley as they were available for a requested change -- had a panoramic Xray taken in a new machine. As always, care was great and chair-side manner was excellent. I have been going to Greentree since the mid-1990s (when it was located in Carriage Place Plaza) and highly recommend it. UPDATED: Had some strange goings in my mouth and checked in just before Thanksgiving 2023 to get it looked at. Drs. Kear and Ferguson both took a look and we are trying a few things over the next week. Very professional care and I recommend the practice unequivocally. UPDATED: I had another biannual checkup as part of the "Membership" program yesterday (06-21-23), and one key benefit is that those checkups are free and now INCLUDE fluoride treatment...Yippee. I was able to reminisce with Dr. Kear as Dr. McKibben was limping in late, get the update on a new mechanic for the "venerable Volvo" and my XR were done very capably by Carolyn Stamper. Oral cancer screening, very thorough, is another benefit of my program enrollment. The culture in the Greentree Dental group BACKGROUND: I have been a patient since 1995 or so, working first with Dr. Kear (at the original location), then Dr Ferguson for an implant, and now Dr. McKibben (who just replaced the crown of the implant after 10 years of duty). Always like the staff who do a great job, for example Pam who worked on my implant repair. The dentists & staff do a good job of explaining why they are doing what they do. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
