Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities

They needed to encourage these people with a disability of why they needed to work.They needed to work because to live independently to get a house, a car, health insurance and other things.when are you going to take your break. They can write down on their schedule that way they won’t have a burnout of over working themselves. They need to learn how to deal with boredom to listen to music, bring a coloring book, play games on their phone and fidget toys.

OOD was a blessing to me they didn't stop helping me until I had a job that was the perfect fit. In college I thought they were going to suggest a few things to help me with classes and just be done, but the blessings never stopped the people that you work with here actually care. They will celebrate your success and help you if you find yourself in need even 6 years after college when I reached out to my old contact she jumped right in to help me during what could have been a very scary time in my life became a lot less intimidating with their help.

My son and I love the support this program provided during my child’s summer employment. This was a great step in the right direction and this program was with my child every step of the way. I recommend this program to everyone.
