Nah. Requested a quote for laser cutting acrylic project that fit on a single 18x24in sheet of clear acrylic. Initial quote for $360. After clarification on scaling, second quote for $270. I can get this job completed AND shipped for $60 elsewhere. Edit Response: The "disaster" files were 4 Adobe Illustrator files with different objects on a 1:1 scale. These files were broken down by parts of the project and grouped together. Since you apparently didn't look at the scaling of the files before sending me the initial quote, I combined them all into one file for your convenience. As such, I would recommend hiring someone else for this work if you have trouble with it, Then the "files set up" charge of $40 might actually make sense. I am indeed uneducated in the ways of laser cutting acrylic using commercial products, but then that is not what you said, is it? I do know how to compare quotes/prices between those who are in that business. I also know enough not to take personal jabs at your potential customer base just because you get a bad review for compared costs from your competitors in the business. On a final note, the fact you would feel it necessary to provide customer names (since my last name is not public on my profile) in an apparent attempt to insult them for said negative review does not instill confidence in professionalism for your "highest quality work".
