My wife has dementia; progressing. In 2018, Donna, the boss, made 2 trips to assess the situation, and then she accompanied Leah on her first visit to make sure the introduction went smoothly. It did. Over the next year, with Leah working a few hours a day, Donna worked to get extra help from caregivers with dementia experience. Meanwhile, she was advising me in person - kind, empathetic, honest - about my wife's disease progression, needed accommodations, and we discussed how I was handling my own negative physical and emotional symptoms. Even though it was going to cost her business, Donna advised me to start looking for potential alternatives to in-home care. Some months later, the time seemed right for a move to memory care, and a room was available, but I didn't think I was ready. Donna suggested I reconsider, because of the uncertainty of timely room-availability in our preferred setting. I did, and I booked the room, and I immediately felt some of the stress peel away. Now, some months later, I still feel thankful to Donna (and Leah) for the support and advice. It would have been so much harder without them.

I contracted for care services with Donna Breaux and her Eugene team in February 2016 for my elderly, home-bound father, age 93. From start to finish I found her services to be personal, professional, knowledgeable and highly resourceful as needs changed, increased and became more complicated. Her sincere caregivers Dawn, Ina and Leah were patient and kind with my Dad. Donna provided professional, knowledgeable council that enabled me to make use of available options for a better-than-imagined outcome of care for my Dad when his needs were beyond the scope of care from Comfort Keepers. Our contract ended this month (Sept, 2016) and I will be forever grateful for her expertise and sincerity. I recommend Comfort Keepers and Donna without reservation.
