I came to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital from Farrell, PA with my baby boy who was born a month early. This is hands down the best hospital I've ever been to. All of his nurses on the NICU floor that helped take care of him during the 17 days we were there, all were absolutely amazing. I had nurses who took care of him for several nights in a row, then didn't have him one night, come in at the end of their shift in the morning just to check on him and see how he was doing. They kept me and my fianc informed in all decisions that were being made on his behalf. They explained to us what was being done, why it was being done and when. They answered all questions we had (which were ALOT). They never didn't have an answer for us! My baby boy was SO WELL taken care of here and I couldn't have asked for better care for him. I hope we're never in a situation like this again, but I know if we are, where we'll be going Thank you Pittsburgh Children's Hospital for taking such good care of BOTH me and my son the 17 days he was in your care and that I stayed down there with him for. The many times we have been there with our daughter has been great. The Dr and nurses and other staff have been very caring. I couldn't have asked for better care for my daughter.

My son had to have surgery on his eye due to an orbital fracture. The entire staff was so informative, kind, and genuinely seem like they enjoy what they do and are passionate about it. The surgeons did a phenomenal job and the nurses were absolutely amazing. His nurse, Abby, who helped with our stay was one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I honestly cannot thank her enough for how special she made an otherwise scary event for my son. By far the best hospital experience I've ever had.
