Justin is a nice landlord in many ways, and he is responsive and will help you with problems you have. But BEWARE: My wife and I needed to break our lease as I received an offer for a Pastor job out of state. I asked him to work with me, but he wouldn't make any kind of deal outside of what he is required to by law (if he gets another tenant, then I'm essentially out of the lease). That's fine because I signed the lease and should pay the consequences for it, But when we were moving out, we repeatedly asked for touch up paint or the paint code to fix the walls. We had a few spots we hung pictures up with adhesive that caused issues. We asked for the paint code so we could patch the spots and paint, but he didn't give it. When we moved out he charged us roughly $250 for painting and dry wall repair. Then over $100 for carpet cleaning (it was in the lease so that's understandable) and another $100 for basic cleaning. We had the apartment 95% clean and we've always gotten our full deposit back. It seems like he wanted the walls and cleaning to be 100% perfect and charged us for it all. He said there were a few things under the oven we missed. And that we left some cleaning supplies, things that should take 10 minutes to clean. most apartment landlord to know that there will be a minor amount of cleaning but as long as the apartment is fairly clean they are normally understanding. So beware. Very nice man, but your deposit may be in danger if you stay here. Just have to be honest

Great place! We've lived here for a year and half. I don't think you'll find a better view in Hartford!
