My son and I were introduced to Coach Fran when Connor was in 8th grade. He was relatively new to the world of throws. I was a sprinter in high school and college...so throws was way out of my comfort zone. Fran transformed Connor. He had the strength and power but lacking in solid technic...she literally broke is throwing method apart and put it back together with granular precision. Fran was the reason Connor ultimately become competitive and a medal winning thrower. He was a 5A State qualifier and medal winner his junior and senior year in high school; as well as medal winner same years at the AAU Team Junior Olympics. Fran's method of training kept it fun yet focused for Connor (and for me as a parent). His success is a direct relationship to Fran's coaching!

Coach Fran is an amazing coach! She pays close attention to the strengths and weaknesses of each athlete and tailors a plan unique to the individual. She is so patient and great at breaking down the throw. She is the type of coach that knows when to push you and when to encourage you so that you can continue to develop as a thrower. She was my coach for many years when I participated in AAU track and field and readily available when I went to college if I ever needed a pointer from her. I threw 4 events (discus, shot put, hammer and weight) and she knew about them all! She even taught me javelin (although I never competed in that event). I have nothing but positive things to say about Coach Fran. She is a great coach and an all around breath of fresh air! Highly recommend and honestly, I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars!
