Graceland Windows and Doors

We hired Graceland Windows and Doors to replace about half of the windows in our home a couple of years ago. The customer service seemed ok. But we kept getting hundreds of bugs coming into the large windows in the front room. in late summer of 2020 we decided to let Graceland replace the remaining windows. At this time we asked to have a representative of their manufacturer NT Windows inspect our windows for defects. The manufacturer sent two technicians to inspect the first job and found multiple places around the house where the windows had been improperly installed. They documented all of the issues in writing. So we went ahead and ordered the final set of windows. They miscounted the windows and one window did not arrive with the second order and had to be back ordered. Then they sent a few guys to my house to fix the installation issues from the order a year or two earlier.. They had failed to install seals in some windows, screws were missing in others and many of the mortar repairs had to be redone. When they finished repairing the mortar they just dumped the leftover mortar on my crushed granite patio. I had to call them out again to fix a window seal damaged during installation. The technician repaired the seal but broke the window glass and left without telling me what had happened. This was late in 2020. Graceland sent a man out to look at the broken window and said it would be replaced. I was notified on December 1, 2020 that my replacement window had arrived at Graceland's Austin warehouse and that they would get the replacement scheduled right away. Since Dec 1, 2020 I have received 18 emails with excused for why my window has not been replaced. I have all of them documented. I was a good customer and referred several friends to Graceland. Not sure what the problem is but this company has really lost it and customer satisfaction seems to be the last thing they are concerned about. I scheduled this company to come out for a window and door consultation. The first appointment they called 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment to claim that the drivers had been in accident earlier in the morning. It seemed strange I wasn't notified earlier if it had happened much earlier in the morning, but I happily rescheduled for the following week. Tomorrow is my rescheduled appointment time and they have again tried to reschedule with less than 24-hours notice, and this time without any reason. They simply said "the industry is crazy now" as if that somehow validates wasting client's time. This is now 2 separate times I've taken off work to meet with a company who clearly cannot even schedule properly, so I will be going elsewhere. Who knows if they're a good company, you can't even get them to show up for a sales call.

We needed to have a French door replaced due to weather related damage and, of course, our door was not a normal-sized, buy from Home Depot, style door. We had a number of quotes and they were all over the place but mostly in the 'I'm definitely not paying that for a door' range. We decided to go to Graceland to ask for a quote - our fallback was that we were going to bite the bullet and have the area reframed so a standard door could fit. Graceland sent their person out to measure and the quote was much more reasonable then the other ones that we had received and it was for a door that would replace the one we had at the same dimensions. As a custom door it took about 6 weeks to get the door in. They sent a crew of 3 people out to do the installation, they tarped and masked off the area very well, did a phenomenal job of removing the old door and refitting in the new door, replaced the mouldings both inside and outside of the doors (with caulking at the seams), and even reinstalled the shades that had been mounted on the old door for us. When they finished they cleaned the entire area, vacuumed the work area, and left it pristine. It's literally ready for painting with no additional prep needed. We were very happy with their communications through the process, the workmanship, and the professionalism. HIGHLY recommend Graceland. Services: Custom doors, Door installation

We couldn't recommend Graceland Windows enough! They were very timely, the end product was amazing and the price was great. We are so grateful to have a company we could trust during this process. We would highly recommend!

Graceland replaced our old french doors with new beautiful sliding doors. The people we talked to, whether through email or on the phone, were super responsive, detailed, and friendly. Their prices were extremely reasonable, and the whole installation process was professional and painless. A year after the installation we experienced some minor troubles with the locking mechanism. I emailed Graceland back to see if they could come check it out, and within a couple weeks (this is during the pandemic shutdown) they had sent someone out to fix it, all under warranty! I really can't recommend Graceland enough for their due diligence and their customer care. And of course, great quality products. We look forward to working with them again on future projects for our home! Service: Door installation
