Stayed here for a wedding, had a big group and rented three condos for the weekend. All three condos smelled strongly of creosote and a mildew/mold mix and had many spiders/spider webs around the edges of the ceilings. One of the condos was not cleaned at check in, which the property manager came and did herself once she was called. One of the condos had no hot water which required a maintenance guy to come out for about an hour. When we went to check the water heater there were a few dead mice in the basement. One of the beds had a bunch of seeds in it from some critter storing it in there. Under the beds were also small piles of seeds and other stuff as well. One of the condos had defective electrical outlets in the bathrooms. We were also told there was AC in the units when we called for booking which there was not in any of the units. The vast majority of the pillows in all the units were in tough shape. To top it off two of the three condos had less than a roll of toilet paper between both bathrooms. The only reason the third one did was because the supervisor was the one who was cleaning it. We had called the number for housekeeping left in the unit but it was a disconnected number. If we could have moved somewhere else we would have however there were a bunch of weddings in the area the same weekend and lodging close by was limited that could accommodate a group late on a Friday afternoon/evening. Luckily, we had good weather so could leave the windows open while we were there to air it out a bit as it would have been unbearable without being able to do that. The place has a lot of potential. It is also an odd situation as the units are owner owned/furnished but Sugarbush Village Condominiums runs the rental service side of it so there is a lot of inconsistency. This inconsistency includes appliances, furniture, bedding, and overall maintenance of the buildings. A ton of the issues could be fixed by some consistent cleaning and airing out of the units between guests. I’m sure some of the units are nice which is driving positive reviews, but the three we were in were not. Will not be staying here again and until they clean up their property I would advise others not to stay here either.
